AWARDs FOR IEEE ACCESS
Thomson Reuters Science Citation Index Expanded
Although the journal IEEE Access is only 3 years old (in March 2016), it has been accepted into the Thomson Reuters Science Citation Index Expanded, and it will be included in the Web of Science, Journal Citation Reports, and Current Contents/ Engineering, Computing and Technology edition, starting with Volume 1 of 2013.
Letter from David A. Hodges to IEEE members, 2015-03-31.
Dear Colleague,
It is my pleasure to announce that IEEE’s new multidisciplinary journal, IEEE Access, has been awarded the 2015 PROSE Award for Best New Journal in STM (science, technology and medicine). IEEE Access has made great strides since its inception in May 2013, and I am very glad to see the growing success of this open access journal.
Another exciting announcement for IEEE Access is that one of our authors, Professor Ted Rappaport, was awarded the 2015 IEEE Donald G. Fink Award for his article, “Millimeter Wave Mobile Communications for 5G Cellular: It Will Work.”
As an Editorial Board Member and one of the founding members of IEEE Access, I am very proud of the recent accomplishments of this new journal and would like to encourage you to submit an article.
